Daniele Perissin

Daniele Perissin was born in Milan, Italy, in 1977. He received his Master (laurea) in Telecommunications Engineering and his Ph.D. in Information Technology (cum laude) from Politecnico di Milano in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He joined the Signal Processing research group at Politecnico di Milano in 2002, and since then, he has been working on Time Series InSAR analysis in the framework of Radar Remote Sensing. In 2009 he moved to the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as Research Assistant Professor. In 2013-2018 was Assistant Professor position at the Purdue University (USA), School of Civil Engineering. He is currently adjunct Professor at Purdue and he does research and teaching also at CIRGEO, Padova University. He is author of more than 160 research works in journals and conference proceedings, he got two patents on SAR processing algorithms and he received the JSTARS best paper award in 2012. He is the developer of the software Sarproz for processing multi-temporal InSAR data.
